The Jackson Heights Canine Recreational Wonderland, known as JHCREW, is a community-managed dog run that provides a safe, enclosed off-leash space for dogs and their owners in Jackson Heights. Designed and built by the New York Department of Transportation (NY DOT), the park offers spacious playgrounds divided into two large fenced off areas for our furry friends.
JHCREW is a membership-based dog park located at 35th Avenue at 69th Street in Jackson Heights, New York. Operated under the JHBG umbrella, JHCREW gives neighborhood dogs a place to exercise, socialize, and play while building community among the people who love them. JHCREW membership is free and open to all.

The optional suggested donation helps provide maintenance and supplies for the park, but is not a requirement for membership. The dog run is maintained entirely by volunteers who give their time to keep the space clean, safe, and welcoming. Regular maintenance includes surface upkeep, fence repairs, waste station management, and seasonal improvements. JHCREW members organize cleanup days, fundraise, and rely on JHBG’s backing to cover the costs of supplies and repairs.
You can support JHCREW by volunteering for maintenance days, donating toward supplies and improvements, or simply using the space responsibly and encouraging others to do the same. A well-maintained dog run is a community asset that benefits everyone in the neighborhood.
