This Saturday August 20th; we will be working on 69th Street and Northern Boulevard from 9 to noon.
This is part of the work done by  Jackson Heights Beautification Group, and volunteers during this Summer and and lot more to do to beautify ‪Jackson Heights

On August 6th  Saturday we are working on PS 69. Our goal is to work on the 78th Street side of the school.

Saturday, May 14th– This Saturday, JHBG is working with PS 280 at 35th Avenue and 94th Street to plant the garden around the School. We will be planting the flower bed along the side of the Schooll and around the flower bed around the flag pole.

Saturday, May 14th – It’s My Park Day. Join us at Travers Park, located on 34th Avenue between 78th and 77th Streets, on Saturday the 14th. We’ll be cleaning, planting, and painting our well-used and well-loved park! 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Sunday, May 15th– 37th Avenue Flowering Perennial Party.

Let’s make 37th Avenue bloom with flowering perennials, starting today. Another family-friendly event.

We just picked up the plants and are set to go!!!!

We do gardening & cleaning around Jackson Heights every Saturday from 10 AM to about 1 PM‎. We provide the tools, you provide the muscle. Everyone is invited to pitch in and help.

It was raining, but we did a great job at #PS149
we constructed 6 raised beds and planted new bushes
Also added mulch to the trees on sidewalk around the School
