Saturday, April 1, 2017 we meet for a pancake breakfast where we set the Spring gardening schedule. Each Saturday from April to Thanksgiving a group of Jackson Heights Beautification volunteers gardeners around Jackson Heights to green the neighborhood. So if you have a block you would like to see improved, come on April 1st so we can add it to the schedule. Past projects have included: planting along the BQE at 69th Street, IS 230 Garden, Median along 34th Avenue, IS 145, PS 69, Post Office on 37th Ave., Street Trees on 37th Avenue, Diversity Plaza, PS 280, PS 149, PS 92 and the garden at Food Bazaar.
